We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team at Mumzworld. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our e-commerce platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to continuously improve our automation coverage and overall software quality. Job Responsibilities:

●        Analyze product requirements and translate them into comprehensive automated test cases.

●        Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web and mobile applications using modern frameworks (e.g., Selenium and Appium)

●        Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and supporting tools (with a strong preference for Python-based solutions).

●        Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous testing.

●        Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira.

●        Perform root cause analysis of automation failures and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.

●        Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and promote best coding/testing practices within the team.

●        Mentor and provide guidance to other QA engineers on automation best practices.

●        Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

●        Proactively contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

Qualifications

●        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

●        4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a primary focus on automation

●  Relevant certifications in test automation or quality assurance (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar) are a plus.

Skills:

●        Proficient in developing and maintaining automation frameworks for both web and mobile applications.

●        Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar.

●        Proficient in Python for writing and maintaining automation scripts.

●        Experience testing in the e-commerce domain is highly desirable.

●        Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

●        Solid understanding of software testing methodologies: functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

●        Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

●        Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

●        High level of ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to quality.
