Senior Product Manager - Operations
If you're passionate about building products that make a real difference in people's lives, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to be part of our growth story, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Overview
As the Senior Product Manager for Operations at Mumzworld, you will be the architect of our "Post-Purchase" engine, with a particular focus on the Marketplace and Seller experience. You will own the technical ecosystem that manages the lifecycle of an order from the moment a seller lists a product, through onboarding, fulfillment, and payout, to the second it is reconciled in our financial books. This role is about building the "nervous system" of Mumzworld, including the Seller Center/Vendor Portal, OMS, WMS, and ERP.
Key Responsibilities
Seller Center & Marketplace Ops (Primary Focus): Own the Seller Portal / Vendor Portal end-to-end, seller onboarding flows, bulk catalog and listing management, seller-fulfilled (drop-ship) workflows, and the tools that empower our marketplace partners to operate independently and efficiently.
Seller Payouts, Commission & Reconciliation: Design and own the logic for seller payouts, commission/take-rate structures, and automated financial reconciliation between marketplace transactions and seller ledgers — ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely settlement for partners.
Catalog & Listing Operations: Build and optimize the systems sellers use to list, update, and manage products at scale including bulk upload tools, catalog quality/compliance checks, and listing approval workflows.
ERP & Financial Integrity: Own the integration between physical/marketplace transactions and financial records. Ensure every order, return, seller payout, and lost item is accurately reflected in the ERP for automated reconciliation.
Fulfillment & WMS Strategy: Lead the roadmap for our Warehouse Management System. Optimize picking algorithms, inbound receiving, and inventory QC to ensure the highest throughput at the lowest cost.
Inventory & Multi-Node Orchestration: Design logic to manage stock across internal warehouses, 3PL partners, and seller-fulfilled inventory, minimizing split shipments and ensuring real-time "Available to Sell" accuracy.
Logistics & Last Mile: Lead technical integrations with regional carriers, focusing on delivery density, automated manifesting, and real-time tracking from dispatch to doorstep.
Reverse Logistics: Redesign the returns and refund experience, ensuring seamless communication between the warehouse QC team, the Seller Center, and the Finance ERP.
What We're Looking For
5+ Years in Product Management, with hands-on ownership of a Marketplace, Supplier Portal, or Vendor Portal product
Marketplace Operations Expertise: Direct experience with seller onboarding, catalog/listing operations, seller-fulfilled workflows, and the operational mechanics of running a multi-seller marketplace.
Payouts & Commission Structures: Demonstrated experience designing or managing seller payout systems, commission/take-rate models, and reconciliation between marketplace GMV and seller settlements.
Subject Matter Expertise: Strong understanding of Seller Center/Vendor Portal platforms, with working knowledge of ERP (Finance/Inventory modules) and WMS as complementary systems.
Demonstrated Ability: Translate complex operational pain points (such as seller onboarding friction, payout disputes, or catalog data quality issues) into scalable product solutions.
Technical Depth: Proven experience with backend platforms and API integrations. Comfortable discussing how data flows from a seller's API into the marketplace platform, the OMS, and finally into the ERP.
Analytical & BI Proficiency: Ability to analyze complex data to identify bottlenecks in seller onboarding, catalog operations, or leakages in payout/commission reconciliation.
Track Record: Proven success driving measurable improvements in seller activation time, catalog quality, payout accuracy/timeliness, and take-rate optimization.
What Sets You Apart
Deep marketplace/eCommerce experience: you've built and optimized seller-facing or vendor-facing products, not just buyer-facing ones
Self-starter mentality: you don't need hand-holding or constant check-ins
Bias for action: you move fast, make decisions, and avoid analysis paralysis
Multi-tasking mastery: you can handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
Results delivery: you have a proven "get things done" track record
The Right Fit Will:
