Graduate Management Trainee – Operations
We're more than just a workplace. We know that finding a meaningful and rewarding job can be a long journey.
Role Overview
Mumzworld is entering a new chapter of disciplined, profitable growth. We are sharpening our category focus, deepening customer relevance, and rebuilding our operational engine for scale, and our Marketplace is central to that journey.
The Graduate Management Trainee - Operations will play a hands-on role in building and scaling our Marketplace operations. The core focus of this role is vendor operations and vendor management: helping set up the structure, processes, and standards that allow our marketplace vendors to onboard smoothly, perform consistently, and deliver a great experience to our customers.
This is not a traditional graduate rotation. It is a mission-based build role for a highly analytical graduate who wants real ownership early in their career and is excited to build new capabilities from the ground up.
What You'll Be Doing
Marketplace Structure & Setup: Support the design and rollout of our marketplace operating model, including vendor onboarding flows, operating policies, service level agreements, and performance standards. Help define how vendors are segmented, supported, and governed as the marketplace scales.
Vendor Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new marketplace vendors, from documentation and compliance checks through to account setup, product listing, and go-live. Train vendors on our seller tools, processes, and quality standards so they are ready to trade from day one.
Vendor Management & Performance: Act as a key point of contact for marketplace vendors, building strong working relationships and resolving issues quickly. Track vendor performance against key metrics such as order fulfilment, on-time dispatch, cancellations, returns, and customer feedback, and run regular performance reviews and improvement plans.
Vendor Operations & Fulfilment: Coordinate day-to-day vendor operations, including order processing, stock availability, dispatch, and returns. Work closely with logistics and fulfilment teams to remove bottlenecks and ensure a reliable customer experience across marketplace orders.
Processes, SOPs & Reporting: Create SOPs, vendor playbooks, and operating guidelines that make marketplace operations scalable and consistent. Build dashboards and reports that give visibility of vendor health and marketplace performance, and identify opportunities to automate manual work.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Category and Commercial teams on vendor acquisition and assortment, Finance on vendor payouts and reconciliations, Product and Technology on seller tools and systems, and Customer Experience on resolving vendor-related customer issues.
